Nous Sommes Tous Canucks

Rebecca Bollwitt makes a note of the Canucks' new ad campaign, which I saw on one of the three channels I get, Global TV. (The other two are CBC and some other channel I don't watch.) The commercial shows Canucks of all uniforms (or eras, but now since many fans and even the team sometimes wear the vintage uniforms), a car painted in Canucks colours at the time—i.e. yellow and red and black—and a shot of fans twirling towels, obviously a year the Canucks made the playoffs. The commercial is a bit flat, though, with no real inspiring music and too much talking, not enough hockey. Better to have more highlights and the music that starts of each game as the Canucks come on the ice.

Including Steve Nash wearing a Canucks jersey was inspired, though.

(The title of the post is a play on "We Are All Canucks", and obviously references "Nous Some Tous Américains" as headlined in French newspapers on September 11th, though I remember it most vividly from a French woman who said it on camera.)
